Executive Committee

The NECA Executive Committee provides strategic guidance and oversight to the staff and all of NECA.

Audit Committee

The Audit Committee assists the NECA Executive Committee and the ELECTRI International Board of Trustees in fulfilling their oversight responsibilities regarding the independent audits, financial reporting process and internal control systems.

Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee is concerned with federal legislative actions and regulatory policies affecting the opportunity and ability of electrical contractors to operate efficiently, profitably and in the best interest of their customers.

Codes & Standards Committee

The NECA Codes and Standards Committee is involved with development, administration, and enforcement of installation codes, safety standards, product standards, and other related industry regulations. 

Management Development Committee

The Management Development Committee oversees the educational products and services that NECA develops for members and their employees, providing a professional development curriculum that is both comprehensive in scope and progressive in addressing the training needs of the various levels of the NECA constituency. 

Council on Industrial Relations

By collective bargaining agreements, labor disputes in the industry are referred to the Council on Industrial Relations and parties to the disputes are pledged to abide by the result of this voluntary arbitration procedure. 

Workforce Development Committee

The Workforce Development Committee is concerned with maintaining and expanding skill as the cornerstone of this specialty contracting industry. Provision of an adequate supply of skill is vital to the industry and production of skill in this complex mechanical trade demands supervision, variety of experience and instruction. 

National Employees Benefit Board

By collective bargaining in 1946, the electrical contracting industry developed a modest pension plan. A pioneering step in an industry of intermittent and transitory employment patterns, the Employees Benefit Agreement set a national uniform pattern for the industry. 

Business Development Task Force

NECA developed the Business Development Task Force in 2011 as a response to the evolving electrical construction industry. The goal of NECA’s business and market development program is to prepare NECA contractors for new forms of electrical work and provide the tools and knowledge they need to add these important services to their company. 

Safety Task Force

The Safety Task Force serves as the association's advisory board on occupational safety and health related matters affecting the electrical construction industry.   

Technology Systems Integration Task Force

The Technology Systems Integration Task Force explores the impact of the Low Voltage / Telecommunications sector of the Electrical Contracting Industry.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B) Task Force

The DEI&B Task Force seeks to develop an awareness and education platform to foster a work environment within the electrical industry that supports each person's unique differences. We will strive to create a long-term cultural shift, on national and local levels, where each person can thrive and be empowered to contribute to the overall success of our industry.

Innovation and Strategy Task Force

The Innovation and Strategy Task Force seeks to elevate the construction industry through investigation and strategic application of industry trends and emerging technologies. The task force members, who are comprised of some of the top leaders in our industry, help navigate the future of construction while keeping our NECA contractors informed and prepared for the future of construction.

Women in NECA / Future Leaders Task Force

Women In NECA was established to provide a collaborative forum for women affiliated with NECA-member companies, chapters, and LMCCs. NECA's Future Leaders connects emerging professionals by offering events focused on networking and discussion topics to enhance their leadership skills and increase their involvement within the association, community, and the industry.
