The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
NECA is constantly working to update our safety tools and resources to include the latest industry standards and regulations issued by consensus and regulatory entities. These resources include valuable tools and products that help members and industry professionals to stay successful when managing their company's safety programs by providing exclusive training material for their employees.
NECA has developed one-and two-day classes on NFPA 70E to help contractors and electrical workers understand and apply the requirements developed in the standard for their safety. These courses can be delivered to a chapter or individual contractor through NECA Education.
NECA also provides training to chapters and contractors on topics such as How to Handle an OSHA Inspection, Temporary Power, and Electrical Safety. Our instructors are leaders in their field and well versed in industry standards such as NFPA 70, the National Electrical Code (NEC) and grounding, We also provide additional training to assist contractors in understanding the new requirements and significant changes included in newly released standard revisions for the NEC and NFPA 70E. NECA Safety has three popular, pocket-sized handbooks available. Provide these to employees following any orientation or training and use them for reference on the job site. NECA Safety also has Inside Electrical Construction and Outside Line Safety Talks (updated in 2022) available for download.
