Virginia approves 6-year, $28.5B infrastructure plan

The Six-Year Improvement Program, administered by the Virginia DOT and the Department of Rail and Public Transportation and approved by the Commonwealth Transportation Board, will fund more than 4,300 construction and infrastructure jobs across the state.

Robots at the Breaker Panel Are Tackling Arc Flash Head-on

Despite numerous improvements in worker protections and PPE, certain activities such as large circuit energization still carry substantial risk for electrical workers. Some companies have developed robotic solutions built specifically for such strenuous and hazardous electrical-specific tasks.

In partnership with the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), NECA is asking members to complete the CFMA Financial Benchmarker survey for industry research purposes. The report provides an in-depth analysis of key financial data and provides an industry standard that can be used for change order negotiations, audits, claims & more.
