Lilly to invest extra $4.5B across Indiana manufacturing
Eli Lilly & Co. will invest an additional $4.5 billion across two of its three Lebanon, Indiana, manufacturing sites to meet growing demand for its genetic therapies and weight-loss medications, the pharmaceutical giant said Wednesday.

NECA Members Take to Capitol Hill at 2026 Legislative Conference
NECA Members and Chapters delivered a powerful showing at the 2026 Legislative Conference, conducting more than 150 congressional meetings to champion the electrical contracting industry. From seasoned advocates to first-time Hill visitors, NECA showed up in force, meeting directly with congressional staff to move the needle on the issues that matter most to contractors across the country. Attendees advocated for passing a 2026 Highway Bill that modernizes and electrifies surface transportation, enacting the Retainage Tax Fairness Act, investing in resilient and electrified transportation infrastructure, and supporting permitting reform to streamline transmission work.

Post-Event Report: Inaugural Prefabrication Track at EMERGE
NECA's inaugural Prefabrication Track at EMERGE 2026 drew 200+ attendees from electrical contractors across the country. Seventy-four percent arrived already doing some form of prefab. Thousands of data points gathered across shop tours, Prefab Town Halls, pre-event surveys, and live polling form the backbone of the post-event report, an honest, ground-level picture of where the industry actually stands.
