Upcoming Smart Power & Lighting Systems Virtual Classroom
This advanced session, held February 24 at 12:00 PM ET, builds on Part 1 and equips electrical professionals with the practical skills to configure, test, commission, and deliver Power over Ethernet (PoE) lighting systems. Participants will learn proper cable testing, certification, and troubleshooting aligned with TIA 568 standards, along with best practices for network configuration and project turnover. By the end of the course, contractors will be prepared to manage PoE lighting installations from design through client handoff with efficiency, reliability, and compliance.

New Free ELECTRI Report
Inconsistent planning processes create inefficiencies long before a project breaks ground. ELECTRI's newest research, Planning for Productivity, tackles this challenge head-on. Led by Amelia Celoza of the University of Colorado Boulder, the study provides actionable frameworks, standardized tools, and implementation strategies to help electrical contractors align estimating, purchasing, and project execution, resulting in stronger coordination, clearer reporting, and improved jobsite productivity.
Accepting New Applicants
The NECA/ELECTRI Project Management Apprenticeship is a one-year, U.S. Department of Labor–Registered program designed for electrical contractors to develop future project management leaders. Apprentices gain critical technical, leadership, and business skills while continuing to work full time. To date, 131 apprentices from 78 NECA contractor companies across 31 states have completed the program—strengthening their firms from within. We're accepting new applicants for the upcoming cohorts!
