NECA Member Donald G. Laffoon Invited to White House to Support “One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act”
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) is proud to announce that Donald G. Laffoon, Chairman of the Board of Electrical Corporation of America Inc., based in Raytown, Missouri, was invited to participate in today’s official White House event highlighting the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act” and its impact on working Americans.
This event, hosted by the White House, aimed to spotlight how the legislation delivers tangible benefits for hardworking Americans nationwide. Donald Laffoon, a NECA member contractor and chairman of NECA’s Government Affairs Committee, is a respected leader in the electrical construction industry. He was selected to represent the voice of essential contractors who power America’s infrastructure and economy.
“I’m honored to represent NECA contractors and the thousands of skilled men and women of the electrical construction industry at this national event,” said Donald Laffoon. “This legislation directly supports the companies and the workers who are building America’s infrastructure. It’s important that our stories are heard and recognized.”
This legislation focuses on initiatives that include permanent tax relief, increased support for working-class families, enhanced economic incentives for small businesses and manufacturers, and expanded trade training for the electrification of America. “The tax relief, family benefits, and incentives for small businesses will extend far beyond individual households,” said Marco Giamberardino, NECA’s Senior Vice President of Government and Public Affairs. “This legislation will lift businesses, working families, and communities. The positive impact will ripple through the country for generations to come.”
“Don’s participation at the White House is a reflection of the trust that NECA member contractors and their workers have earned across America — and in Washington,” said David Long, CEO of NECA. “Our contractors are at the heart of the workforce, creating jobs, driving innovation, delivering critical infrastructure, and ensuring our nation’s security. We are proud to have Don serve as a voice for that impact.”
