The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

The 2025-2027 NECA Manual of Labor Units Is Now Available

An estimate is only as good as the information it's based on. Since 1923, the NECA Manual of Labor Units (MLU) has been the estimating resource of choice for electrical contractors, providing an experience-based reference for the labor required to install typical electrical and communications systems. The 2025-2027 edition is here, and every NECA member gets a copy. 

Your Complimentary Subscription 

The primary contact for each NECA member company, or the individual designated to receive MLU access, received an email on Thursday, September 17 from Trimble with instructions for activating a complimentary two-year subscription to the 2025-2027 edition. The subscription includes full access to the online labor units database and an electronic copy of the Manual.  

How to Get Started 

  • Already have a Trimble account? Log in with your existing credentials to access the 2025-2027 MLU. Please note: the subscription will only show up on the account of the primary contact/designated representative for each member company 

  • New to Trimble? Look for an email from Trimble Identity ([email protected]) with a personalized link to create your account and get set up. 

Additional Copies 

You can purchase additional seats to the MLU subscription and copies of the PDF now in the NECA Store. Hard copies of the Manual will be available soon.
