NECA Announces Recipient of 2024 NECA Safety Ambassadors Medal

The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and NECA Safety would like to congratulate this year’s recipient of the 2024 NECA Safety Ambassadors Medal, Forest Electric Corporation from Edison, NJ. With metrics that exceeded all of the other registrations, they are the best of the best with a world class safety program that demonstrates their commitment.

Forest Electric Corporation, under the leadership of Harry Sassaman, has received this prestigious recognition in past years and NECA truly appreciates this organization’s dedication to safety.  Forest Electric Inc. will be recognized during the 2024 NECA Safety Professional Conference (NSPC) in Denver, CO, for their achievement. 

In 2019, NECA created the NECA Safety Ambassadors Medal to recognize a NECA member that has exemplified superior performance in the area of safety providing leadership, support and recognition to employees that lead by example. Ultimately honoring that member company that was highest rating in the NECA Recognition of Safety Achievement Program. The NECA Safety Ambassadors Medal Program recipient is selected for achieving a superior safety performance score in the NECA Recognition of Safety Achievement Programs. This cumulative score is based on a point system for having low injury and illness rates and an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) which exceeds OSHA and insurance industry standards.
