2021 National Award Winners: Donald V. Campbell Honored With Wendt Award by ELECTRI International
ELECTRI International has selected Donald V. Campbell as the recipient of the 2021 Wendt Award, the highest honor bestowed annually by the foundation. Named for Albert G. Wendt, the award honors individuals for their exemplary leadership and service to the electrical construction industry.
Campbell was presented with the award on Oct. 10 as part of the NECA Convention and Trade Show in Nashville, Tennessee.
Campbell is currently Executive Director of the Southern Nevada Chapter, NECA, based in Las Vegas. He has
been a member of the electrical construction industry for six decades and has consistently devoted himself to advancing and advocating for the EC industry with regular involvement in both ELECTRI International and the NECA.
Over the years, Campbell has served on numerous ELECTRI International task forces helping guide the Foundation’s research, including decades as a representative to the ELECTRI Council. Campbell also served on ELECTRI’s
Program Review Committee from 2013 to 2016. Since 2015, he has served on the Development and Engagement Committee, dedicating his attention to bringing awareness of ELECTRI International to NECA Chapters, contractors, and industry
partners across the country.
