The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

DOL Issues Additional Guidance for Employers, Employees, FAQs

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) on March 24, 2020 issued guidance for employers, guidance for employees, and a set of FAQs on how the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (H.R.6201) will affect employers and employees.  This guidance will be critical to all employers – especially small- and mid-sized NECA member companies – and in particular to businesses in other industries.

Please Note: The DOL made clear in its releases that there will further guidance and also additional regulations related to the exemptions for employers with fewer than 50 employees.
