Training Card Changes Announced for 20-hour Construction Supervisor Leadership Skills Trainers
The U.S. Department of Labor recently announced that 20-hour Construction Supervisor Leadership Skills course trainers will be required to transition from paper student course completion cards to durable plastic cards effective January 1, 2020.
The new process to order 20-hour cards matches what’s currently in place for 10-hour cards.
This change affects authorized Electrical Transmission and Distribution Partnership 20-hour Construction Supervisor Leadership Skills course trainers in the following ways:
- Trainers who do not currently train the ET&D 10-hour Construction course or the 10- or 30-hour Construction Outreach Training Program courses may need to set up Outreach portal access with their approved training organizations.
- Trainers must now ensure Outreach Training Program Reports are submitted through the Outreach portal within 30 days of training end date.
- Cards cost $8 each.
For more information, trainers should contact their approved training organizations.
