The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Cyclone Energy 2019 ELECTRI International Green Energy Challenge

For five years running, Cyclone Energy, the competition team of Iowa State’s student chapter of the NECA, has claimed the championship at the GEC,and the team is at it again for 2019.

This year’s team is working with Heartland Senior Services in east Ames. Staff at the senior services center provides life-enriching opportunities for older adults during the day, including exercise classes, art activities, meals, music groups and dances.

BSU Team Promotes Energy Savings at ARF Muncie

The NECA Student Chapter team at Ball State announced that they will be working with local area non-profit Animal Rescue Fund (ARF), a no kill, non-profit animal shelter, to complete their Green Energy Challenge proposal.

For the competition, students had to assess ARF's current energy usage and provide suggestions for efficiency. Students worked with local area NECA contractors and ARF throughout the semester, providing them with knowledge and real-world experience to better finish their proposal.
