Dave Nielsen

Dave Nielsen, a longtime executive at the Minneapolis-based firm Parsons Electric LLC, has been named National Electrical Contractors Association Vice President at Large and will serve on the Executive and Labor Relations Committee.

Nielsen serves as Senior Vice President of Electrical Construction at Parsons Electric LLC, where he has worked for more than 20 years. Dave oversees all facets of the company’s electrical construction division, including estimating and pre-construction, design/BIM, marketing and business development and project management. Additionally, Dave is a long-time NECA supporter serving in multiple local and national roles including serving as PLC National Chair and on the Government Affairs Committee.

“I am honored to serve NECA and our members in this capacity,” Nielsen said. “It is a great time to be a part of the electrical construction industry, and I look forward to working with NECA’s leadership team.”

Nielsen replaces Larry Beltramo, who assumed the role of NECA President earlier this year.

“Dave Nielsen’s deep knowledge and experience in our industry makes him a tremendous asset to our team,” NECA CEO David Long said. “I am confident NECA will continue to move forward with Dave’s strong voice.”
