IBEW Releases Statement on the Selection of T. David Long as the Next NECA CEO
IBEW International President Lonnie R. Stephenson issued the following statement on the occasion of the selection of T. David Long as the next Chief Executive Officer of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).
"On behalf of 775,000 active and retired members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, I offer my heartiest congratulations to T. David Long on his selection as the next Chief Executive Officer of the National Electrical Contractors Association.
As the president of Miller Electric in Jacksonville, Florida, David has been a long-time partner of the IBEW and I know he will bring his proven commitment to excellence and growth to NECA and to the men and women of the union electrical industry.
I also want to offer my thanks to outgoing CEO John Grau for his years of service to NECA and the IBEW. He has left NECA and our industry a better place. It has been an honor to work with him and the men and women of the IBEW wish him the very best."
