The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Rep. Don Young Becomes Longest-Serving House Republican

On March 6, 2019, Representative Don Young (R-AK), Dean of The House became the longest-serving House Republican in history, surpassing the service of Speaker Joe Cannon. Rep. Young has been a strong ally and supporter of NECA and the entire electrical construction industry. NECA joins in congratulating Rep. Young in this historic milestone. He was lauded by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), and many others in House leadership on both sides of the aisle for his long and accomplished career representing the state of Alaska.
