In December 2025, Advance Sound Company, announced the donation of a complete, state-of-the-art professional audio system to the CM Performing Arts Center (CM PAC) in Oakdale, New York.
Advance Sound Company partnered with IBEW Local Union 25 to modernize the venue’s electrical infrastructure. Roland's Electric and John Paul Electric, who are both NECA member contractors as well, provided technicians to support this initiative.
“We are thrilled to contribute equipment and work alongside IBEW Local 25 to provide a modern, reliable setup that will elevate performances and enrich the cultural life of the region,” said Matthew DePace of Advance Sound Company.
Advance Sound Company installed a JBL VRX Line Array system. Using the existing Midas M32 console as a foundation, the team rebuilt the audio infrastructure with BSS BLU-100 signal processors at both the console location and amplifier rack. These units are connected through a redundant BLU Link network, controlling Crown DCI42400N BLU Link amplifiers, ensuring mission-critical reliability for live performances. The Company also donated a Draper Paragon V tensioned projection screen and assisted with lighting infrastructure upgrades, including new wiring and expanded control capabilities through Streaming Architecture for Control Networks (sACN).
“Our team redesigned the audio layout to optimize coverage and clarity throughout the venue, while also updating all electrical and signal pathways to support a high-performance, future-proof system," said Thomas DePace, COO and Vice President of Engineering at Advance Sound Company. "Performers and audiences alike will experience significantly enhanced sound quality across every seat in the house.”
