Taylor Electric Company
Taylor Electric Company sponsored a "Go Pink" Campaign in October 2016 to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness. Pink hard hats were distributed and for every employee wearing a pink hard hat, $25 was donated to the University of Chicago's Cancer Research Center. A total of $1,150 was donated and many pictures were posted on social media to increase awareness.

Taylor Electric Company employees and family members started Taylor Electric CARES, NFP (TECares) in 2021 to ensure the inclusion and success of minorities and women in the electrical construction industry. TECares developed a partnership with Chicago Women and Trades to host participants in their Women Build Illinois to introduce them to a day in the life of an electrician. The women visited Taylor Electric and participate in pipe bending or wiring, or safety demonstration and blueprint reading. They ended the day by asking questions to a panel of women in the electrical construction industry, including a president and CEO, vice president, estimator, project manager and former journeyman electrician. Taylor Electric has introduced almost two hundred women to the industry, while showing them successful women in the industry.
