The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

NEMA, ASHRAE and PNNLE Release New Joint Framework for Data Center Construction

NEMA has teamed up with ASHRAE and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) to launch the online A.I. Data Center Energy Performance Framework, a comprehensive set of technical standards and industry best practices that will aid data center project developers and facility managers in the design, installation and maintenance of critical energy infrastructure.

Bechtel wins role on $100B Micron New York megafab

Micron tapped Bechtel as the engineering, procurement and construction partner for the first phase of its $100 billion semiconductor manufacturing complex in Clay, New York, according to a Wednesday news release.

Google x electrical training ALLIANCE

Google.org Renews Major Investment in Electrical Training

Last Thursday, Google.org announced a second round of funding for the electrical training ALLIANCE (etA), the apprenticeship program jointly run by NECA and IBEW, as part of a national $50 million commitment from its AI Opportunity Fund to prepare more than 300,000 American workers across over 20 states. That same day, NECA CEO David Long sat down with Stuart Varney on Fox Business Network to discuss what Google's continued investment really means for the future of American infrastructure, noting that this isn't just about training electricians today but about plotting a course that creates pathways to national security, family-sustaining wages, and long-term opportunities for generations of electrical industry professionals.
