Senators introduce bill to enforce Buy America compliance
U.S. Sens. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., and Jim Banks, R-Ind., introduced a bill on Monday that would require federal agencies to comply with the Build America, Buy America Act for contracted projects funded through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

Safety Alliance Launches Video Resources
For Construction Safety Week (May 4–8), the Safety Alliance, comprised of NECA, TAUC, MCAA, and SMACNA, developed a series of safety resource videos focused on critical jobsite practices. These videos cover key topics including fall prevention, strengthening safety culture, proper lockout/tagout procedures, switching and tagging protocols, and correct glove use to help reinforce safe habits and reduce risk across the industry.
May Safety Minute: Electrical Safety Month & Key Industry Updates
May is Electrical Safety Month, highlighting the importance of protecting workers from electrical hazards. This year’s focus includes avoiding counterfeit products, using NRTL-certified equipment, and addressing emerging technologies.
