The newly revised NECA 407-2025 outlines procedures for installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining panelboards up to 1000V AC/DC, including both single and multi-section units. It covers the full lifecycle—from delivery and installation to commissioning and long-term service. Updates include requirements for grounding, load balancing, infrared scanning, and restoring equipment after events like short-circuits, ground faults, or water exposure. NECA 407 helps ensure safe, code-compliant, and reliable panelboard systems.
