The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

DOT Safety for the Electrical Worker and Building a Safe Driving Program

There are several Department of Transportation regulations that are relevant to an electrical worker, as well as new mandates affecting the industry in 2022. This session will highlight  commercial drivers licensing, FMCSA regulations, and driving safety. Additional items discussed include safety leadership, building a safe driving program, and how to effectively create buy-in with new initiatives.

As a Federally Certified DOT specialist, Shelby Ramsey has served the industry for over 10 years providing Transportation Safety Training as well as building Safe Driving Programs. As an expert in her field, she has in-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and held several leadership roles. She has led several safety organizations and been a part of developing multiple safety programs to target Safe driving.
