The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Hosted at NECA’s Washington, DC headquarters, NSPI combines classroom instruction, facili‑ tated discussion, and applied exercises, giving participants practical strategies to strengthen safety management and culture.

We have planned a special program for apprentices working at all levels of electrical construction from first year to fifth year. Following the workshop, all participants can visit the NECA Show Floor for FREE!
Line apprentices representing their local JATCs compete in knowledge and skills challenges based on their step progression. Events showcase real‑world Outside Line tasks such as transformer connections, pole‑top rescue, and related technical operations. West Coast JATCs are supporting the Challenge, with their trainers providing technical guidance and judging.
Outside Line Apprentice Challenge
An interactive area on the NECA Show floor dedicated to transmission and distribution work practices and safety. Attendees see demonstrations of energized work methods, grounding and bonding, fall protection, aerial equipment, and other utility‑grade systems, with direct access to subject matter experts and manufacturers.
