The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

NSPI is a professional development program for emerging safety leaders supporting electrical construction work. The program includes a dedicated curriculum for Outside Line attendees, covering grounding and bonding, isolate and insulate concepts, basic safety requirements when working with helicopters, aerial equipment safety, and fall protection. Hosted at NECA’s Washington, DC headquarters, NSPI combines classroom instruction, facili‑ tated discussion, and applied exercises, giving participants practical strategies to strengthen safety management and culture.

Join hundreds of apprentices for the NECA Apprentice Appreciation Day at NECA 2026 Las Vegas! We have planned a special program for apprentices working at all levels of electrical construction from first year to fifth year. Following the workshop, all participants can visit the NECA Show Floor for FREE!
Line apprentices representing their local JATCs compete in knowledge and skills challenges based on their step progression. Events showcase real‑world Outside Line tasks such as transformer connections, pole‑top rescue, and related technical operations. West Coast JATCs are supporting the Challenge, with their trainers providing technical guidance and judging.
Outside Line Apprentice Challenge
An interactive area on the NECA Show floor dedicated to transmission and distribution work practices and safety. Attendees see demonstrations of energized work methods, grounding and bonding, fall protection, aerial equipment, and other utility‑grade systems, with direct access to subject matter experts and manufacturers.
The District 10 reception at the NECA Show is an intimate gathering of friends, associates, and supporters of the line industry. It offers a relaxed environment to reflect on shared successes, talk openly about overcoming challenges, and strengthen relationships across the D10 community. The reception creates space for meaningful conversation and high‑value networking that supports continued collaboration long after the convention ends.
