An employer safety program determines the company’s safety culture. This course will identify the key roles and responsibilities of the supervisors in charge and discuss the importance of a good safety record and the impacts that safety has on the overall health of a company, both the personnel and the organization. We will focus on the characteristics and habits of a safe employee and how employee buy-in affects the success of an employer safety program. How to create and evaluate the status of a company safety program including the understanding and retention of your company’s safety training with employees and significant updates, including the latest OSHA activities that impact businesses and the construction industry, will also be discussed.
