The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is gaining traction in normal conversations in most industries and throughout the world. The session will address the interconnection between Safety Leadership and DEI, two topics that may seem completely separate but should be connected to ensure safety leadership styles adapt to the audience that is being impacted.
Monique Parker is the VP of Safety, Environment, Health (SEH) and Sustainability for Piedmont Lithium; headquartered in Belmont, NC. She earned her BS in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Tech and has almost 20 years of experience leading SEH around the world. Her experiences span a wide range of industries from textiles, food production, building materials, chemical manufacturing and mining. Given her diversified experiences, she has had the opportunity to work in multiple countries and working with extremely diverse cultures.
