The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
This general session will discuss how to lead and inspire others through a ruthless dedication to excellence. During his 22-year career in the Navy, Art delaCruz was tasked with various assignments, including six combat deployments, commanding a Navy strike-fighter squadron, serving as a Topgun instructor, and serving as a Secretary of Defense Corporate Fellow at McKinsey & Co. Following his time in the Navy, he worked in Business Development and Strategy & Planning for the aerospace and defense sector. He now works with Team Rubicon, a team of veterans and first responders with a mission to “rapidly deploy emergency response teams” wherever they are needed.
Art delaCruz is a retired U.S. Naval Officer who served for 22 years. He’s made six combat deployments and served tours as an instructor at the Navy Fighter Weapon School and as the Commanding Officer of Strike Fighter Squadron TWO TWO. Today, Art is Chief Executive Officer at Team Rubicon, the only nonprofit disaster response organization utilizing military veterans’ skills to deploy emergency response teams. He has recently overseen Team Rubicon’s responses to flooding in Kentucky and wildfires in Colorado. Art earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the U.S. Naval Academy and his Master’s in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas.
