The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Abraham Lincoln Leadership Award

This award, established in 2017, recognizes a NECA member for outstanding achievement in federal, state or local level advocacy engagement.

NECA established the Abraham Lincoln Leadership Award in 2017, at the annual Convention and Trade Show in Seattle, Washington. This award recognizes an individual for outstanding achievement in federal, state or local level advocacy engagement.

To qualify for this Award, this individual shall have engaged in policy or political activities to advance the electrical construction industry.

Nominations

  • May be made by any member, Chapter or NECA committee.
  • Must be received at NECA Headquarters no later than May 1st and should be emailed to Traci Walker at [email protected] and Diane Jacobson at [email protected].
  • Should include a full description of the character of the service performed by the nominee, from which the Committee of Awards can make its determination.

The Award will be announced after the Executive Committee's decision at their June meeting.
