Ted Uppole is Vice President of Labor Relations for the National Electrical Contractors Association. He began his career in the electrical trade in 1992, working for a NECA contractor in La Plata, Maryland. After graduating from The Citadel in 1998, he joined the Central Indiana Chapter of NECA later that year.

Ted became a NECA Field Representative in 2022, was appointed Western Regional Director in 2024, and later advanced to his current role. He is a strong advocate for expanding veterans’ health and suicide prevention services, expanding access to careers in the skilled trades, and improving food security and health care access for families in need.

Ted lives in Carlsbad, California, with his wife, Dawn, their twin sons, Dorian and Tristan, and their dog, Luna. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, kayaking, hiking, camping, and reading.
