Jason C. Head brings more than 30 years of electrical experience and industry leadership to his role as Chapter Manager of the Southeastern Michigan Chapter of NECA. A master electrician and licensed electrical contractor with deep roots in the IBEW, he progressed from Future Leaders program participant (2016) to Assistant Chapter Manager (2019) to Chapter Manager (2024). His leadership focuses on aligning workforce needs with practical training and career development solutions across both the field and supporting roles—including estimators, project managers, and procurement professionals—recognizing each as critical to project success. Jason led the development of the NECA-Careers platform, strengthening student-to-career pathways and connecting education with industry opportunities across Southeast Michigan. He has also expanded partnerships across academia and industry, supporting the Wayne State University NECA student chapter’s success in the ELECTRI International ECIC competition and driving growth in training participation and contractor engagement. Jason brings a strong combination of field experience and strategic perspective to the Training Professionals Community, with a focus on building a sustainable, well-rounded workforce.
