The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
This training program provides attendees with a review of significant revisions to OSHA’s Hazard Communications Standard Training
The presentation provides employers (members) with specific information about the new Global Harmonization System (GHS). This program also provides attendees with the training required for employees by December 1, 2013 as part of OSHA’s transitional timeline for implementation of the new GHS for Hazard Communication. The training reviews the GHS, key terminology, revised elements for labels, and the new information required for Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Warning labels on hazardous chemicals found the workplace are changing, and OSHA has set a Dec. 1 deadline for training employees in how to recognize these new labels.
To help NECA contractors satisfy this OSHA requirement, NECA offered the necessary training in a webinar on November 14, 2013, which included the new hazardous material labeling and the new SDS format. Any employees of NECA member companies needing to satisfy this training requirement are invited to participate. As required, the training will also provide a detailed overview of the new requirements for Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).
NOTE: This webinar was recorded for future viewing. Participants must register for the webinar under their own name, receive a score or at least 80% on this quiz, complete an online survey once they finish watching the recording, and email [email protected] to obtain a certificate of participation.
