Kristin Causby, Assistant Chapter Executive
Minneapolis Chapter
Kristin Causby, a diversity, equity, and inclusion advocate with over 25 years of experience in the electrical contracting industry, is dedicated to fostering inclusive work environments that celebrate differences and promote equity. With a passion for creating equal opportunity for underrepresented groups, Kristin has worked to design and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives that not only raise awareness but drive real change.
Starting in 1996 as a member of a large NECA contractor in St. Paul, MN, Kristin has a long history in the electrical contracting industry. Over the years, Kristin has held various positions within the company, including Residential Designer/Project Manager, Service Coordinator, Service Manager, and Field Labor Manager for inside, low voltage, and underground workers.
In 2017, Kristin joined Minneapolis NECA as the Assistant Chapter Executive, and has since served our industry and NECA community as a NECA DEI&B Task Force member, JATC committee member for two apprenticeship programs, Labor Management trustee, Trust Fund trustee, and member of multiple program advisory committees for electrical programming at local trade schools. Kristin is also a representative for two NECA student chapters and is involved in Lake Street Works (a trade prep program) and Girl Scouts STEM programming.
Kristin is constantly seeking new ways to deepen her knowledge and impact in the field. Her passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion is infectious, and she inspires others to join the movement towards a more inclusive future.
