Improving Readiness, Hazard Recognition, and Trust Through Human-Performance

In electrical work, even the best procedures and PPE fall short when workers are fatigued, in pain, under-fueled, or stretched beyond their cognitive capacity. This session explores how human performance factors such as movement quality, sleep and fatigue, hydration, and communication directly influence worker readiness, hazard recognition, and day-to-day decision-making. Attendees will walk away with practical leadership strategies to build trust, strengthen readiness, and integrate these principles into daily operations to reduce incidents and reinforce a strong safety culture.
