OSHA heat standard clears regulatory hurdle
A committee has unanimously recommended that the agency advance the proposal for a heat safety rule. On April 24, the OSHA Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health unanimously recommended that OSHA “move forward expeditiously”
on a notice of proposed rulemaking for a new heat standard. As part of the rulemaking progress, OSHA will continue to seek input from stakeholders and the public.

In partnership with the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), NECA is asking members to complete the CFMA Financial Benchmarker survey for industry research purposes. The report provides an in-depth analysis of key financial data and provides an industry standard that can be used for change order negotiations, audits, claims & more. Register Now: 2024 Labor Relations Conference
This year’s NECA Labor Relations Conference will include a wide range of presentations from electrical industry experts aimed to create a foundation of knowledge and transferable skills to improve labor relations in all aspects for attendees. The conference will also discuss CIR and hold a simulated CIR panel, updates on legal and regulatory matters, and strategies for effective collaboration with IBEW counterparts.
