As the Department Manager for the Technology Practice Group at Bala, Joe has over 20 years of practical field and design experience and is in charge of guiding the design and business development efforts for the team. His area of expertise lies in the design, documentation, specification, and installation of telecommunications, security, audiovisual, and nurse call systems. His breadth of experience and knowledge has led him to present nationally on the integration of converged building systems and the Internet of Things (IoT) in designing today’s intelligent buildings. Joe’s project experience concentrates on the university, commercial office, high-rise, data center, healthcare, and transportation markets.
