John joined BaseRock in 2023 and brings over 20 years of finance and consulting experience, including more than 12 years specializing in financial advisory to engineering and construction firms.

Prior to joining BaseRock, John was a Managing Director at FMI Capital Advisors where he focused on serving contractor and construction services clients. Prior to FMI, John was an Associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he executed M&A, debt, and equity transactions. John began his career as a management consultant for Accenture and Deloitte Consulting.

John’s transaction experience spans all types of construction industry clients including building contractors, heavy civil & infrastructure contractors, specialty contractors, construction materials companies, and engineering firms. His advisory services capabilities include sell- and buy-side transactions, management buyouts, and ESOP formations.

John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bucknell University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
