Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers has served as the Representative for Washington’s 5th Congressional District since 2004. In 2023, McMorris Rodgers was elected by her Republican colleagues to serve as Chair of the powerful Energy & Commerce committee. She has made history once again, becoming the first female Chair to lead the committee. The Congresswoman is focused on “Winning the Future” and delivering real results from expanding access to rural broadband and improving health care to addressing climate change and securing America’s energy independence.
