
Congressman Earl Blumenauer (D-OR)
Elected to the US House of Representatives in 1996, Rep. Blumenauer has tackled controversial issues and finds ways to break ideological and partisan gridlock with a unique approach to problem solving that brings people together. He currently serves as a member of the Ways and Means Committee, Chairman of the subcommittee on Trade and a member of the subcommittee on Health. Blumenauer has been a champion for rebuilding and renewing our nation's infrastructure and economic security for families. Rep. Blumenauer has been a longstanding friend to NECA’s Oregon delegation and an advocate for infrastructure investment. The Congressman has worked with NECA on reforming the tax code to help main street rebuild their local infrastructure and commercial buildings.
