  1. President Trump signed the NECA-supported “Omnibus bill, (H.R. 1625, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2018,” on March 23, 2018. NECA has developed a detailed analysis of the key parts of the legislation and what it means for our contractors nationwide.

  2. In preparation for next week’s reverse industry training with the General Service Administration (GSA), Dave Singleton of Singleton Electric (Gaithersburg, MD), participated in a preliminary meeting with GSA on behalf of NECA. This meeting centered around contractors’ perceptions on the factors that incentivize and deter bids on federal work. All participants of this roundtable including: general contractors, subcontractors, and engineers, were present and participated in a robust conversation.
