As we enter the closing days of the first session of the 114th Congress, NECA went on the record and urged Congress to address some critical issues that must be addressed before the end of 2015.
In a letter sent to all 535 offices on Capitol Hill, NECA states that Congress must address the following NECA-priority issues:
- Ensuring the federal government and all federal construction programs are funded through the end of fiscal year 2016;
- Extend and make permanent many of the important tax incentives of primary concern to NECA contractors that are currently scheduled to expire after December 31, 2015; and,
- Asking that the 40 percent (or so-called "Cadillac") tax on high end health care plan be repealed.
We will continue to report on these priority issues in the coming days. Download NECA Letter to Senate and House Offices
