  • OMB and CISA Issue New Guidelines Addressing Coronavirus Impacts on Federal Contractors

  • Federal Government Announces Plan to Implement Coronavirus-Related Paid Leave for Workers and Tax Credits for Small and Midsize Businesses

    On March 23, the U.S. Treasury Department, Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Department of Labor announced that small and midsize employers can begin taking advantage of two new refundable payroll tax credits, designed to immediately and fully reimburse them, dollar-for-dollar, for the cost of providing Coronavirus-related leave to their employees.

  • Federal Income Taxes Postponed from April 15 to July 15

    The IRS issued on March 20, 2020 Notice 2020-18. This notice supersedes Notice 2020-17 so that not only are payments for Federal income taxes postponed from April 15th to July 15th but now the filings are automatically postponed as well. The $1 million and $10 million limitations have been removed.
