Energy Study Mission

by Adrianne Gracias | Mar 06, 2018

Registration for the NECA 2018 Energy Study Mission is now open. The meeting will be held from April 24-25 at the Omni Hotel at the Battery Atlanta, adjacent to Suntrust Park, home of the Atlanta Braves. Attendees will also visit and tour Acuity Brands Lighting.

acuitybrandsDay one will feature tours of Acuity’s Jim McClung Lighting Center and their Integrated Solutions Factory. Attendees will get to see what Acuity is doing with wired and wireless controls, Visual Light Communications, Bluetooth Beacons, Indoor Positioning, Wayfinding, Internet of Things (IoT), dynamic lighting, smart buildings, networked solutions, and much more.

Day two will feature expert-led seminars and group discussions where the group will review topics from the prior day as well as other topics like energy storage and microgrids, and NECA’s Energy Conservation and Performance (ECAP) platform for financing and guaranteeing energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.

Technology is continuously evolving and creating opportunities for new types of work. NECA’s Energy Study Mission gives members the opportunity to stay informed and get a jump on the competition through insights on the most recent advances in the energy industry. As in year’s past, to better facilitate group dialogue and discussion, the meeting size will be capped at 30 registrants.

Hurry, space is limited! We hope to see you there!
