Safety Professionals

NECA's Safety Professionals Conference is the premier annual safety event for the electrical construction industry. The conference provides the most current up-to-date information on regulation, compliance, management techniques and standards development that impact safety and health in electrical construction industry. All sessions are educational in nature, providing two hours' worth of instruction per session.

The Executive Management Institute (EMI) serves as a capstone to the NECA professional development curriculum. NECA’s International Study Missions are intended to bring U.S. contractors into direct contact with the management and workforce of electrical contracting firms in other countries to encourage the interchange of ideas, technologies and best practices. The ELECTRI Council is the driving force that guides ELECTRI International – The Foundation for Electrical Construction';s work. The ELECTRI Council has close to 200 companies, including electrical contractors, NECA Chapters and industry partners who have each made a significant investment of time and money. The Council works side by side with the Foundation to select ELECTRI's annual research agenda.

NECA’s student chapter program is open to any college or university that offers a curriculum that helps prepare students for a career in the electrical construction industry. NECA chapters work with local universities to establish NECA student chapters to support these students.
