Chairman’s Challenge: Penn-Del-Jersey Chapter Meets Rep. Cartwright

On March 4, 2017, the Penn-Del-Jersey Chapter met with Rep. Cartwright (D-PA) in Moosic, PA for a breakfast meeting. Rep. Cartwright is on the influential House Appropriations Committee and the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

The meeting, which was a town hall styled discussion to address issues prevalent to the local unionized industries, brought together members of both management and labor. Cartwright discussed some of the challenges the various industries might face in the 115th Congress. He discussed the shared interest of investing in infrastructure in order to promote a healthier economy and long-term sustainable jobs.
