On November 22, the Penn-Del-Jersey Chapter met with Rep. Ryan Costello (R-PA) in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Rep. Costello serves on the House Committee on Veteran’s Affairs and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. He was a critical player in passing the NECA supported FAST Act, the first long-term transportation funding bill in a decade and supported Davis-Bacon and prevailing wage provisions as common sense ways to support the use of local businesses and labor.
The group discussed local projects and thanked the Congressman for his support of NECA-supported congressional authorization of composite plan design for multiemployer pension reform and his cosponsorship of bills that would provide consistent incentives for clean and efficient technologies, such as fuel cells, combined heat and power, small wind, and micro turbines, to name a few.
