Online Harassment Courses that Meet California Requirements Available

Apr 26, 2019

California recently enacted a requirement for all employers with five or more employees to provide sexual harassment and abusive conduct training to all employees by January 1, 2020.

NECA is providing on-demand online training courses to help members in California meet this requirement. Common Ground For Supervisors, which meets the two-hour requirement for supervisors, and Common Ground for Employees, which meets their one-hour requirement, are now available in the NECA Learning Center.

Providing an interactive experience, these courses take participants through an interactive movie, prompting them to make decisions regarding harassment prevention and response and educating them on harassment, sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention and response.

If you have required training and would like to find an online alternative, please contact NECA Education at education@necanet.org.
