Programs on Job Kickoff Meetings and Safety Preplanning Now Available
Two new short, on-demand courses, each about 15 minutes in length, on the role of the electrical project manager during job kickoff meetings and in safety planning during the preplanning stage are now available in the NECA Learning Center.
Job Kickoff Meetings
The project manager plays an essential role in the job kickoff process, that starts with the job kickoff meetings. This course will help the electrical project manager understand the goals of internal and external job kickoff meetings to ensure that all team members are focused on the project goals from the very start of the project.

As the project manager, it is your responsibility to plan and enforce safety best practices and your company’s policies and regulations. This is a responsibility that can be shared, but never completely delegated. This course will discuss the important steps that a project manager must take before work has begun, to provide a safe, productive jobsite.

Each course is available to NECA members for $10 for an introductory period. It is recommended that participants complete the free Introduction to Preplanning
course prior to taking these programs.
