The National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee's National Training Institute
(NTI) is an annual event that offers a variety of educational and training opportunities to meet the rapidly changing demands of the electrical industry. This year's NTI will take place July 27-August 2
at the University of Michigan
in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The NTI is divided into several different functions, all taking place simultaneously: Professional Education Classes ("I Group"); Technical Training Classes ("T Group"); Outstanding Apprentice Graduate Program ("A Group"); a special series of seminars for JATC members, training directors, business managers, and electrical contractors ("C Group" and "SC Group"), and a special series of seminars for the Outside Industry ("O Group") that take place throughout the week at different locations on the campus.
It all starts with a trade show at the University of Michigan Track and Field Building on Saturday, July 27, and Sunday, July 28. It will feature more than 300 exhibitors and technical sessions delivered by the NJATC’s leading training partners, including the Fiber Optic Association, Ideal Industries, 3M Company, Corning Cable Systems, and Fluke Corporation.
