ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR magazine, published by NECA, has won two FOLIO: Awards honoring two full issues from earlier in 2012. This is the largest awards competition in magazine publishing, and the only competition for all magazines and their websites.
Delayed by Hurricane Sandy, the annual awards ceremony, recognizing excellence in editorial and design, was held in New York City on November 14. The winning issues include Integrated Systems Contractor, Electrical Contractor's new supplement that debuted in February for the growing low-voltage market.
“We're thrilled to win two Eddies for the entire issues," said ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR Publisher John Maisel, whose magazine won Silver and Bronze Eddie Awards in the Business to Business, Energy/Utilities/Engineering, Full Issue category.
ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR's honors include:
- a Silver Eddie (editorial) for its February 2012 Issue: Renovation
- a Bronze Eddie (editorial) for its April 2012 Issue: Where are LEDs Going Next?
ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR's art direction and creative services are provided by BonoTom Studio, Inc. Arlington, Virginia. The magazine is circulated to 83,000+ electrical contractors and more than 68,000 electrical contracting locations, more than any other industry publication.
