Out of the hundreds of proposals submitted for consideration to the 2014 edition of the National Electrical Code and the many new codes that will be incorporated, Mike Johnston, NECA's executive director, standards and safety, has selected 10 proposed changes that will matter the most to NECA contractors for a special webinar on Feb. 12 at 11 a.m. (Eastern). The webinar is free for NECA members.
NECA is an active participant in the National Electrical Code(NEC®) development process, with representation on each of the 19 NEC® technical committees. Johnston serves as Chair of the NEC® Correlating Committee charged with keeping track of the work done by each committee and is uniquely qualified to offer his perspective on how certain proposals will affect electrical contractors.
Johnston will cover what was proposed and how these changes in the 2014 NEC® may impact contractors' business. This webinar is also a preview of what will be presented in a full series on 2014 NEC Changes that will be offered in the first quarter of 2013. It's a great opportunity to get a free sneak peek for what will be covered in detail later this year.
This webinar is free, but you do need to register in advance. NECA members can register online now. Please note, this presentation will be broadcast via your computer speakers. For those that do not have a headset or speakers readily available, a call-in number will also be provided upon registration completion. For technical assistance, please contact the WebEx host, Adrianne Gracias.
