Tailored, for electrical contractors, this live, instructor-led online course focuses on placing electrical content in models and the creation of electrical circuits. Participants must have a basic understanding of Revit, such as completion of the Revit Electrical Basics course, prior to attendance. This course is recommended for BIM modelers, designers, detailers and engineers.
This course will discuss:
- Electrical settings in Revit
- Placing electrical components including; lights, power devices, and electrical equipment.
- Electrical circuit work including; power circuit creation, wiring, creating panel schedules, and load classifications
- Design documentation - Tags, schedules, text, dimensions, and legends.
Participants must have Revit 2018, 2019 or 2020 installed on their computers prior to the start of this class. A free demo of the software can be downloaded here.
