Technology Spotlight Series: PlanGrid Webinar - Friday, May 8, 2020 | 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM ET

05/08/2020

What construction technology is right for you? As technology companies continuously flood the construction industry with offerings, it has become a major challenge for construction companies to answer that question.

To help our members solve this challenge, the NECA Innovation team will be hosting a weekly webinar series highlighting fully-vetted construction technologies. Each session will be a sales-free educational overview of key functionalities and expert analysis on how a technology can be used in your business. Our goal is to provide you with the information you need to help answer the question, "Is this the right technology for my business?".

Learn the nuts and bolts of PlanGrid—the field’s favorite software that powers more than 2 million construction projects around the world. In this session, you’ll learn why PlanGrid is so impactful as we review common challenges in the field and how PlanGrid is the right tool to solve them. Key topics include how to: upload your project sheets, photos, and documents to PlanGrid; make markups and annotations and publish them to the master set, and use the tasks and issues tool for punch lists, QA/QC, and more. We will also discuss the most-popular features to improve jobsite collaboration and productivity.

This program will be delivered by Peter GilMurray, Deployment Specialist at Autodesk, Inc. and moderated by Josh Bone, NECA's Executive Director of Industry Innovation and Lonnie Cumpton, NECA's Director of Construction Manufacturing.

Peter GilMurray graduated from Indiana University, and then pursued his career in technology working for Apple Computers for 12 years.  After joining PlanGrid nearly 4 years ago, Peter has helped thousands of PlanGrid customers realize productivity gains through mobile technology adoption. From heavy civil to tenant improvements, Peter uses his technical and industry experience to design workflows to help reduce rework and inefficiencies.
